Becky has lived in four yurts in three states, through harsh winters and scorching summers. She founded the North Idaho Public Forum on Sustainability, and her articles on natural building can be found online at www.alternativesmagazine.com and www.hopedance.org. She manages the top yurt website at www.yurtinfo.org and writes a yurt blog, “Living in the Round” (www.livingintheround.net).
Becky’s slideshow covers “all things yurt”, from history to practical concerns and esoteric ideas. It includes stories of people using yurts to achieve their dreams, and design ideas which can be applied well beyond the scope of yurts.
